Every two hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.

Story

Welcome to my JustGiving page!

I'm excited to share that I'll be participating in the Aspire Solent Swim in 2024. This event involves swimming from the mainland to the Isle of Wight, covering a distance of approximately 3 miles. The Solent is a busy shipping lane and home to jellyfish, making this challenge even more daunting. But I'm up for it!

Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help to people who have been paralysed by Spinal Cord Injury. Their work is crucial because there is currently no cure for this life-changing injury. That's why I'm fundraising for Aspire and hoping to reach my target of £850.

I've never completed a sea swimming event before, so this will be a big challenge for me. But I'm determined to complete it and will be training hard to give myself the best chance of success. Your support would mean the world to me and make all the difference in helping Aspire continue their vital work.

Please donate through JustGiving - it's simple, fast, and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to Aspire, making it the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
