At the end of May, I will be taking part in The Royal Sutton Fun Run to raise money for Marie Curie - a cause that means a great deal for me and my family.

Recently, my nan passed away, and during her final weeks, Marie Curie were there to support her with care, compassion, and dignity. As well as supporting her, they supported all of us through a really difficult time.

Seeing first hand the difference they make to families at the end of life is something I’ll never forget. It’s why I wanted to do something, however small, to give back and help them continue the amazing work they do for others going through similar experiences.

So I’ll be taking part in the Royal Sutton Fun Run on 31st May, running 8.5 miles to raise money so that Marie Curie can continue the incredible work they do for families in similar situations.
