To help with the cost of refurbishing the Light Infantry Bugler, veteran fundraiser Paul ‘Coco’ Cocoran MBE, and a group of Light Infantry veterans, will be hiking from Lanercost Priory to Heddon on the Wall (Hadrian’s Wall route) on the first weekend of September to help raise money as part of the LI’s ‘Bring our Bugler Home!’ campaign.

This particular and significant challenge is to raise funds to cover the cost of moving, restoring and re-positioning the iconic LI Bugler, with a break in the journey to the foundry in Oxfordshire, where it was made over forty years ago, and where it will undergo restoration over the winter.
