I started running regularly in March 2024, after two years of very little exercise! I have been given the opportunity to run The London Marathon 2025 to raise funds for The Charcot Therapy Centre.

In all honesty I hadn't considered running a marathon anytime soon, but it was an opportunity I couldn't turn down. Firstly, for the personal challenge and experience, but secondly and most importantly because it's such an amazing charity that I will be fundraising for.

My mum lives with Multiple Sclerosis and has been going to the centre for a number of years, so it's a place that's close to my heart.

I know from her personal experience that the treatments the centre provide improve her quality of life, along with many others who go there for treatment.

The Charcot Therapy Centre strives to be an informative, inclusive, and inviting community hub, delivering unique and alternative therapies in a safe, non-clinical, homely, and friendly environment. Alongside a dedicated team of therapists, they support and encourage individuals in their wellbeing and symptom management to live a good quality of life.

The funds that I raise will allow people in financial hardship to still receive the support, treatment and the sense of community that they desperately need and benefit from at the centre.
