Story
On 7th November, I'm swapping my bed for a sleeping bag and spending one cold night outdoors in St Albans. Why? To raise vital funds for Emmaus Hertfordshire, a charity that supports people out of homelessness and helps them rebuild their lives.
For many, sleeping rough isn’t a choice—it’s a daily reality. Imagine facing the freezing night without shelter, warmth, or safety. That’s why I'm taking part in the St Albans Sleepout: to stand in solidarity with those who have nowhere else to go, and to raise awareness and funds that can change lives.
Emmaus Hertfordshire offers more than just a bed. It provides stability, meaningful work, and a supportive community where people can regain confidence and dignity. Every pound raised helps provide essentials like:
- Safe accommodation
- Fresh meals and clothing
- Training, work opportunities, and mental health support
By sponsoring me, you’re not just donating—you’re giving someone the chance to move away from homelessness for good.
