Story
After breaking my foot twice within a year, I knew I needed a new challenge to motivate me to get fit again. So I signed up for the London Landmarks Half Marathon, which takes place on Sunday 12th April, and I’ve been training hard ever since. 🏃♂️
Many of you may not know this — those closest to me do — but I live with Tourette’s. I’ve struggled with it since I was young. For years I tried to hide it, suppressing and making excuses when people noticed my tics, hoping no one would pay too much attention. Now, I’m learning to accept it as part of who I am.
I’m mainly running to raise awareness, but also in support of Tourette’s Action, a charity that really makes a difference. If you’d like to donate, you can 💚
Every step I run is for helping others with Tourette’s feel seen, understood, and supported.
