I have never really been a strong swimmer and did not learn front crawl as a child. At 45 years old i decided to learn front crawl which is one of the hardest things i have ever done! After learning this skill i wanted to enter something that would really challenge me and raise money for this great cause .

Ellis faced many challenges in his life and took them on like a warrior, so a 2.3km sea swim is nothing compared to what he battled through.

His parents have now setup the Ellis Edwards Foundation which is doing amazing work for families in BCP area who have been in a similar situation to them.
