Our wonderful walkers are taking to the streets and countryside of Oxford, and walking to raise money to support blind and visually impaired people across Oxfordshire!

Story

I'm excited to share that I'm participating in the "MyVision Walk Oxford 2025" on June 22, 2025, to raise funds for MyVision Oxfordshire, a charity dedicated to supporting those with sight loss in our community.

As someone who has gradually lost their eyesight, I understand the challenges that come with navigating the world around us. Getting out into nature and enjoying a simple walk has become increasingly difficult.

However, I am determined to reclaim that joy and make a difference for myself and others facing similar struggles. MyVision Oxfordshire plays a crucial role in empowering the local visually impaired community, providing resources and support that help us thrive. This year, I am taking on the challenge of walking 23 miles in one day—something I have not accomplished since being registered as severely sight impaired. It’s an ambitious goal, but with your support, I know I can achieve it!

Please consider sponsoring me with a donation of £100 or whatever you can contribute. Your generosity will not only motivate me on this journey but also directly impact those who rely on MyVision Oxfordshire's vital services. Together, we can make a meaningful difference!
