My fundraising campaign for the Dougie Mac Hospice is now officially back on. This time something completely different and for certain reasons probably one of the hardest things I've done.

I'm taking part in Strictly Knot Dancing 2025 to raise vital funds for the incredible Dougie Mac Hospice.

On Friday 3rd October, I’ll be stepping onto the dance floor at the King’s Hall in Stoke-on-Trent to perform a live dance routine — yes, in front of an audience and judges! But more importantly, I’ve pledged to raise £4,000 to help Dougie Mac continue providing the compassionate, specialist care they’re so well known for.

Dougie Mac supports over 3,500 people and families every year across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire, offering end-of-life care, emotional support, and dignity to those facing life-limiting conditions — all completely free of charge. But this vital work costs over £23 million a year, and more than 75% of that comes from community donations.

Every pound you donate will help make a difference — whether it’s funding a nurse’s visit, bereavement counselling, or a peaceful hospice room for someone in need.

I'm doing this in memory of my lovely Mum Connie who I lost in 2023 - Dougie Mac took such good care of her during her final days.

Together, we can dance for something that truly matters.
