Story

Hello, I'm Nathan

6 years ago, I completed my first aerial adventure challenge which spiralled into many other fundraising ventures and each one of them was always going to be a stepping-stone to this… a dream come true!

On Sunday 6th August 2023 I will be Wing Walking to raise money for St Wilfrid's Hospice Eastbourne.

St Wilfrid’s provide support for people with any life-limiting illness towards the end of their lives, they also support their families and carers. This could be in the hospice building, in the person’s own home or a care home. St Wilfrid’s Hospice are a charity and are only partly funded by the NHS but around 70% of their funding is from donations from the local community so their care can be free of charge.

St Wilfrid’s Hospice say “£1,000 could pay for ten days of nursing care on our Inpatient Unit or out in the community.”

I would also like you to know that I have paid for this event myself, so all of your donation goes to St Wilfrid’s Hospice.

A little bit of history:

In August 2017 I abseiled 262ft from the ArcelorMittal Orbit, dangling in free space 80 meters from the ground in London. I raised over £1,100 for Fight for Sight.

In August 2018 I skydived 10,000ft, plummeting to the ground from 3050 metres. I raised over £1,000 for Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex.

In August 2020 I completed a skydive from 15,000ft, once more plummeting to the ground from 4570 metres. Freefalling for 60 seconds over the Salisbury Plains. Later in September 2020 I dropped 430ft, again dangling in free space 130 metres from the ground after I fled from the Viewing Tower of the British Airways i360 located at the heart of Brighton’s Coastline. I raised over £1,500 for fight for Sight.
