9th January 2026 is the day that changed our lives forever, it’s the day mummy and daddy lost their baby at 16 weeks. I lost a baby sibling - Santa must’ve heard my Christmas wish but almost got it wrong and nearly took mummy away in the process. Mummy had to have emergency surgery and blood transfusions which saved her life, keeping mummy with me & daddy.

As a family we have found this incredibly traumatic and this year when I do my run on the 30th May, I’d like to raise as much money as I can for Sands in memory of not only my angel baby sibling but everyone who’s lost their baby siblings no matter how far along in the pregnancy journey their mummies have been.

As the UK’s leading pregnancy and baby loss charity, we’re creating a community of compassionate and lifesaving changemakers, whose voices inspire change and turn understanding into action.
