Story
🏃♂️I’m Running the London Marathon 2026 for the National Autistic Society! 💙
In April 2026, I’ll be lacing up my running shoes and taking on the London Marathon – not just for the challenge, but for a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart: the National Autistic Society.
As a parent to a wonderful son who is autistic, this charity’s mission resonates deeply with me. Every day, I see the world through his eyes – his strengths, his challenges, and his unique way of experiencing life. He inspires me constantly with his resilience, creativity, and courage.
But this isn’t just personal.
I’m also a teacher, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of working with many incredible children with additional needs, including those on the autism spectrum. I’ve seen firsthand how vital understanding, support, and acceptance are – not just in schools, but in society as a whole. Every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and empowered to thrive.
The National Autistic Society does amazing work supporting autistic individuals and their families, raising awareness, and campaigning for a more inclusive world. By running this marathon, I’m hoping to raise much-needed funds to support their vital services – and to celebrate every autistic person’s right to be themselves.
So if you’re able to support me on this journey – whether through a donation, a share, or a few words of encouragement – it would truly mean the world.
Let’s make a difference together. Let’s run for acceptance, understanding, and change.
Thank you so much 💙
