For the next two years until 2025, National Museums NI will be supporting Air Ambulance NI as our company charity. Just like our audiences are at the heart of what we do at the museums, patients are at the heart of this charity.

This September we are entering a team in the Dragon Boat Race where we will compete against other teams to win the coveted overall champion cup for fastest time.

The charity Air Ambulance NI works in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service to provide the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service. The service brings urgent medical assistance to anywhere in the province on average twice per day.

The HEMS team attend patients who are seriously ill or injured, bringing emergency pre-hospital care direct to the casualty with the aim of saving lives, brains and limbs.
