GO is run by volunteer Rotarians. We have many years of experience in achieving improved health and education in rural communities by provision of safe water and sanitation, reducing sickness, getting children back into school, and projects that empower women and give dignity to the individual.

Story

In July a group of us will be taking on the challenge of walking the National three peaks: Ben Nevis, Scarfell and Snowden in under 24th hours!

Originally a scout youth project to build a school in Ghana in 1998 Ghana Outlook was Founded in 2000. 10 schools were built over the following years but it was later decided to concentrate on education, health, sanitation and community development in remote poor rural areas. Safe water and dry season farming is a must if life is to improve at all. Dirty contaminated water causes serious diseases that affects peoples lives and children’s education.

Walking for water. Changing lives and making a difference.
