Thames Gateway have chosen to support ECHO - Evelina Children’s Heart Organisation through a fundraising activity of a 16 mile walk from our Dartford office to Evelina's Childrens hosptial.

Congenital heart disease is the most common birth defect affecting just under 1 in every 100 babies born in the UK, and ECHO support from the moment of diagnosis, throughout any treatment and care pathway or bereavement.

ECHO supports children and young people with heart conditions and their families, who have been treated by Evelina London, Royal Brompton and Harefield and their networks of specialist local hospitals across the UK.

The charity offers a number of practical services aimed at supporting these families, often when there is little other help available.
