Story
In 2021, staff at Naunton Park lost two very dear colleagues and friends to cancer. Jamie Hyett was our site manager who had just turned 40 and Phil Hillyard, a teacher, was only 38. Their loss was huge as they were both such big characters in the school and we continue to miss them every day. We strive to do something each year in their memory and to raise money for charity in the process.
This year many of us are taking part in the 6k mud run at Eastnor Castle where we will drag each other through the piles of mud to the finish line.
We have decided to raise money for Ellison’s Fund. Ellison attended Naunton Park and also lost his battle to cancer in 2021 whilst he was in year six. We remember him with such fondness so are proud to be able to help this fund in his memory.
Ellison's Fund is a Special Fund of the Bone Cancer Research Trust raising vital funds for life-saving research into Ewing sarcoma.
Any donations will be much appreciated.
