Story
I am thrilled to be part of "Team #BrainResearchUK" as I prepare to run the London Marathon on April 26, 2026!
This incredible event is not just a race; it is a chance to make a profound impact on the lives of those affected by neurological conditions. Brain Research UK stands at the forefront of this mission, being the UK's leading national funder dedicated to advancing research in this critical field.
Their commitment to funding vital research is essential for increasing our understanding, improving diagnosis and treatment, and ultimately working towards the prevention of neurological conditions. This work helps individuals who suffer from these challenges live better, longer lives.
Currently, their focus is on three priority research areas: Brain Tumours, Brain and Spinal Cord Injury, and Headache and Facial Pain. These are areas where there is a significant unmet patient need that remains unaddressed by current funding levels. By concentrating efforts on these specific issues, we can ensure that our support has a more substantial impact.
I invite you to join me in this important journey. Your generous support will enable Brain Research UK to continue funding life-changing research that can transform lives for those living with neurological conditions. Together, we can make a difference! My target is to raise £3,000 for this cause—every contribution counts and brings us one step closer to achieving our goal.
