I am honoured to participate in the London Half-Marathon 2025 to raise funds for the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) Scholarship Fund.

From this on, I will also run the London Full-Marathon 2025 for the LSHTM Scholarship Fund. I’m thrilled to be running my very first marathon—the iconic London Marathon—in support of a cause that truly means a lot to me.

My Experience at LSHTM

I am from Myanmar. I completed my MSc in Health Policy, Planning, and Financing at LSHTM in the 2021/22 batch. For a student from a third-world country, attending a world-class University is a big dream for all of us. While I was working in MSF in Myanmar, some of the Expet who joined the mission were LSHTM alumni and they shared how greatness of the school. From that time, I had a dream to study at LSHTM one day. Fortunately, I received a scholarship to attend a Master degree in 2021.

My experience at LSHTM was astonishing. The academic rigor, world-class faculty, and unparalleled learning environment shaped my professional journey in profound ways. Above all, the networking opportunities and professional connections I gained at LSHTM have been invaluable. The friendships, mentorship, and collaborative relationships I formed there have played a pivotal role in shaping my career trajectory.

I am deeply grateful for this experience and committed to ensuring others have the same opportunity, regardless of financial constraints.
