Insh’Allah (God willing) on Sunday 15th March 2026 I will be running my 13th Annual Ramadan 10K Run (whilst FASTING ALMOST 14 Hours) in Derby & will arrive the day before in preparation for my run. Yes, I know sounds crazy with no food or drink! I will arrive in Derby the night before - Hotel, Race Fee & Travel are Self-Funded.

I am doing it for the Nazim Ali Foundation in partnership with Keighley-based Green Crescent Aid Uk’s (100% Donation Policy) ‘Azad Kashmir (Pakistan Administered) New Homes Project’ in which poor families (Widows, Orphans, Disabled & Elderly) are being moved from makeshift homes that offer little protection from the winters & unbearably hot in summers to safe & secure new 3 room homes including a kitchen & bathroom. These homes will improve lives with a clean place to live & help to fight off death from diseases.

EACH HOME COSTS JUST £2,600 (ZAKAT APPLICABLE) & donors will receive full feedback (personalised plaque & videos). Insh’Allah I am hoping with YOUR SUPPORT to raise at least £52,000 so that we can build 20 new homes for vulnerable & poor families. The more we raise, the more we can build.

I have worked with Green Crescent Aid UK which is a experienced registered charity for over 9 years now having visited Malawi on a Self-Funded Deployment in Oct 2019 & have done many other projects with them such as 131 House Transformations in Malawi, providing almost 800 Live Goats to poor villagers in Malawi & so forth. They have impressed me with their fantastic work & provide full feedback.

I was named in the King's New Year Honours 2025 & received a British Empire Medal (BEM) & have received several other national honours. For over 28 years I have been at the forefront of community & humanitarian initiatives at the local, national & international levels receiving national awards in the process. I work as a Careers Adviser in 3 inner city schools & take annual leave for my charity trips & self-fund them. To date I have raised over £1.3 million for charitable causes both home & abroad. For the last 2 years every Tuesday I have run the Nazim Ali Foundation 'Khidma Community Kitchen' sponsored by Bradford-based Saveco Cash & providing warm 2 course meals to the homeless & destitute. Prior to this for 10 years I volunteered weekly at another Soup Kitchen in Bradford). Over the last 13 years as part of the 'Creating Smiles Gifts Initiative' I have set up I've made 49 visits to hospitals childrens wards at Bradford Royal Infirmary & Airedale Hospital Childrens Wards distributing thousands of pounds worth of gifts to poorly children. I have distributed in person Aid to the Turkey/Syria border on 7 occasions, the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, Iraqi refugees in war torn Mosul (Iraq), poverty stricken Malawi (Africa), Pakistan Pre-Ramadan Deployments in 2022 & 2023 & to refugees in France & Belgium, Lebanon Ramadan Deployment in 2024, the Jordan Pre-Ramadan Deployment in Feb 2025, Egypt Deployment in Aug 2025 & the Burundi Deployment in Oct 2025 all in the last 11 years. In addition, I have fundraised almost £53,000 from my 2020 Ramadan 10k Run & project managed 116 house transformation in Malawi & provided full video feedback for each house. Furthermore, £78,751 fundraised from my 2021 Ramadan 10K Run to build 63 New 2 Room Homes for Syrian Refugees in Northern Syria with full video feedback for each house. From my Ramadan 2022 fundraising I raised £66,559 to build 35 New Homes for the Poor in Sindh, Pakistan (with full video feedback for each house), from my 2023 Ramadan 10K run I raised £66,611 to build 36 New 2 Room Homes in poverty-stricken Uganda (with full video feedback for each house), fundraised £81,400 from my Ramadan 2024 fundraising Run to build 40 New 2 Room Homes in poverty-stricken Afghanistan (with full video feedback for each house). In addition, I raised £85,810 to build 40 New Houses which I opened in person in late Oct 2025.
