Story
Following on from the success of climbing Yr Wyddfa last October, in May this year, we are going to raise the bar and take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise some much needed money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a 24 mile round trip taking on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough (a total ascent of 5200ft) in under 12 hours .
Regarded as the most underestimated challenge in the UK, this will be a real test of stamina and willpower for the team. With your support we have no doubt we'll make it round.
Why we're doing this....
The effects of dementia on our loved ones is very close to our hearts and so we have come together to support this fantastic charity.
As ever when we do charity events, we are so grateful for the generosity shown by New Coll members.
A word from the Alzheimer's Society
At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.
We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.
