Story

I'm raising £5,000 to support my chosen charity as Chairman of Nottinghamshire County Council: Pulp Friction

As the Chairman of Nottinghamshire County Council 2025/2026, I have chosen Pulp Friction to be my chosen charity during my term of office.

Pulp Friction is a Nottinghamshire-based charity dedicated to supporting learning disabled and autistic people to develop their social, independence and work-readiness skills.

They achieve their goals through a range of community based diverse activities, including catering and hospitality services, their famous smoothie bike, management of the Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service and Police HQ canteen, growing projects, an inclusive community choir, and so much more.

Their mission is to create kinder communities, to challenge the perceptions of disabilities and to improve access to life changing opportunities for Learning Disabled and Autistic people.

All donations during my term of office will go to Pulp Friction, and will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the good work that they do.
