River Tyne Rowing Challenge - 73 Miles

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Rowing the Length of the River Tyne for Alzheimer’s Society – This June 🚣‍♂️💙

This June, our team in the Newcastle GSP office is taking on a powerful and personal challenge: rowing the full length of the River Tyne (73 Miles) in support of Alzheimer’s Society, a charity that works tirelessly to support those affected by dementia and to fund vital research for a cure.

We’re incredibly thankful for the unwavering support of our friends, families and clients . Your encouragement drives us forward and reminds us that we’re not rowing alone, we’re part of a much bigger movement for change.

Each of us has our own reason for taking on this challenge, whether it’s in memory of a loved one, in honour of those currently affected, or simply out of a desire to help end the heartbreak of dementia. Together, we’re proving that determination and compassion can go the distance.

We believe our efforts will not only raise essential funds for Alzheimer’s Society but also inspire others to take action, speak up, and support the fight against dementia.

Please support us in any way you can, share our story, donate if you're able, and help us make a lasting impact. Let’s row for a future where dementia no longer steals memories, identities, and lives.

Thank you for being part of our journey. 🌊💙
