Story
When someone receives an end-of-life diagnosis, it’s not just their world that shifts—it’s the world of everyone who loves them. The team at Weston Hospicecare understands this deeply. They come together as a family of palliative care experts, offering not just medical support but also social, emotional, psychological, spiritual, and physical care to help guide people through one of life’s toughest journeys.
But here’s the challenge: only 20% of Their funding comes from the NHS. That means they rely heavily on the kindness and generosity of the community to raise £5,500,000 every year to keep this vital care going. This is why we're taking part in the Mendip Challenge 2026 walk on 31 May 2026—to help raise funds and awareness for Weston Hospicecare.
We're inviting you to join us in making a difference. Whether you can donate or simply share our story, your support means everything. Together, we can ensure that no one faces their final days alone or without the compassionate care they deserve. Let’s walk this path side by side.
