On the 6th April 2025 I will be lacing up my running shoes and taking on 13.1m in the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Sarcoma Uk in memory of Chris Williamson.

My experience of sarcoma began when Chris a colleague of 15 years was diagnosed with an incredibly rare synovial sarcoma, (there are only 79 cases each year). Seeing the pain and multiple surgeries that Chris went through has motivated me to do as much as I can to help raise funds in his memory for others suffering from this cruel disease.

Your donations go so far in helping the sarcoma community:

- £1 could cover the cost of 10 texts to the support line

- £10 could be used to buy microscope slides to look at cells in minute detail

- £30 could fund one hour of use of a high-powered laboratory microscope

- £150 could fund the support line for a week
