I am raising funds for the Community Foodbank and Garden (CFG) at St Edward's, Mottingham.

The CFG is a two-year project (from January 2026) focused primarily on those residents in the Mottingham Estate who face food insecurity.

Our aims are to ensure:

that no-one goes without food,

that fresh fruit and vegetables from our garden are immediately made available to foodbank users,

that there are safe spaces both in the church and the garden to talk and relax,

that every quarter there will be an opportunity for users to talk about issues affecting them,

and that our foodbank and garden volunteers will have the skills to enable them to be understanding and supportive.
