Story
I spent a large part of my teenage years battling panic disorder. At my worst, I struggled to do even the basics. Attending school felt impossible, and the things I loved and enjoyed seemed completely out of reach.
Without the incredible support I received, both professionally and personally, I would never have been able to achieve even a fraction of what I now sometimes take for granted, like making it to my dream university in my favourite city.
Thanks to that support, I was able to live out the rest of my teenage years (mostly) free from anxiety. I want that same possibility to be within reach for anyone who’s ever struggled with their mental health. That’s why I’m running for Mind - a charity committed to making sure no one has to face their battles alone.
If you’re struggling, please remember it’s never too late to ask for help.
