I'm taking the leap – literally – for a great cause!🪂

On 10 August 2025, I will be skydiving from 10,000 feet with some of my Blacks colleagues to raise money for Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity- an incredibly important and worthwhile cause.

This is something that is way out of my comfort zone and something I would never have imagined myself doing but this is nothing compared to the challenges faced by those suffering with brain tumours every day. Any donations would be greatly appreciated!

This year Blacks Solicitors are taking on their first "Big Jump" with Sky Dive GB in aid of Yorkshire's Brain Tumour Charity. We’re going to be strapping on our parachutes and raising money to help improve the lives of brain tumour patients across Yorkshire! Brain tumours can affect anyone, at any time. They are the single biggest killer of the under 40's in the UK. Every week approximately 15 people are diagnosed with a brain tumour in Yorkshire.

Research has been underfunded for brain tumours, with current treatments nearly 40 years old. Yorkshire Brain Tumour Charity aim to fund world-class research here in Yorkshire to find treatments and a cure. Whilst they do that they provide support to people living with and affected by brain tumours, emotionally, practically and financially.
