Story
In April 2024 a group of NEBOSH employees will be taking on Glyder Fach and Glyder Fawr in Snowdonia.
The highest of the ‘Glyderau’ mountain range, the hike is a distance of 10km round trip and a total ascent of 2643 feet.
We are raising money for Falcon Support Services this year to help save the Falcon Centre. The charity has been helping the homeless and those in need across Leicestershire find independence through housing and community support for 20 years. We have chosen them as our charity to help them save a much needed centre that is at risk of closing.

Leicestershire County Council have withdrawn all funding for face-to-face support to the homeless
With homelessness on the rise and more and more people presenting with complex needs this is a huge blow to the county and will affect the whole community.
Our Flagship Falcon Centre provides temporary accommodation to over 100 individuals a year, all of which work closely with a support worker and to a personalised action plan with clear outcomes that aim to end their homeless cycle by developing confidence, skills and physical and mental health.
The Falcon Centre is also a lifeline for people seeking support providing, over 26,000 hot meals a year, access to washing and showering facilities, food parcels, health and wellbeing initiatives and access to support workers.
Leicestershire County Council have withdrawn all funding for specialist face-to-face support to help the homeless.
