As many of you know, there's not a huge amount left on top these days, but what little hair I have left is going, along with the beard I've spent years growing!

I'm taking on the challenge of shaving my head and beard completely to raise money for Heather's Heroes, a fantastic charity that provides vital support to people and families affected by cancer.

The beard has become a bit of a trademark, so getting rid of it won't be easy, but it's nothing compared to the challenges faced by those supported by Heather's Heroes every day.

If my shiny bald head and clean-shaven face can raise a few pounds for such a worthwhile cause, then it's well worth it!
