Story

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming sponsored climb of Mount Snowdon by the residents, aftercare participants, volunteers, and staff of Jericho House. This exciting event, scheduled for the 21st of June, aims to raise funds for our annual camping trip to Cornwall in July. We believe that this trip provides an invaluable experience for our residents, allowing them to explore new horizons and discover the joy of recovery.

By sponsoring our climbers, you will not only support our cause but also contribute to the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of our residents. Here are some of the incredible benefits they will gain from this adventure:

Physical Well-being:

Climbing Mount Snowdon is a challenging physical endeavor that will push our participants to their limits, promoting strength, endurance, and overall fitness.

Engaging in regular physical activity is known to improve cardiovascular health, enhance energy levels, and boost self-confidence.

Mental Well-being:

Conquering Mount Snowdon will instill a sense of accomplishment, empowering our residents and reinforcing their belief in their abilities to overcome obstacles.

The breathtaking scenery and fresh mountain air will provide a serene environment conducive to mindfulness, stress reduction, and mental clarity.

Spiritual Well-being:

Connecting with nature in the majestic surroundings of Snowdonia National Park can be a deeply spiritual experience, fostering a sense of awe, gratitude, and inner peace.

This journey will encourage introspection, self-reflection, and personal growth, strengthening the spiritual foundations of our residents' recovery journeys.

By supporting our climbers, you are not only making the annual camping trip possible but also demonstrating that recovery can be exciting, fulfilling, and more appealing than active addiction. Your generous contribution will provide our residents with an opportunity to create cherished memories, broaden their horizons, and reinforce their commitment to a life of sobriety.
