Hello all,
Please help me to raise funds for Mid Kent Mind in sponsoring an endurance challenge I'm organising, where I will be attempting a solo cycle ride from the West Coast of Ireland to East Coast UK from Dingle to Folkestone over 2 weeks from 12th September.
I will be focused on completing the 700 mile journey through some of the most scenic, challenging and demanding UK cycling countryside.
Mid Kent Mind as part of a local network of Mind.org.uk is helping to provide support and guidance to people in crisis and those struggling to cope with their day-to-day wellbeing.
Inspired in part by the recent celebration of Graham Thorpe ‘s life cut short too soon, it is clear that mental health is a growing problem that is only just being talked about, but is widely thought of as somebody else's problem. The issues surrounding mental well-being affect us all; friends, families, work colleagues, the people we're interacting with in our day to day lives. Organisations like Mid Kent Mind are there to help provide support and solace and help tackle the stigma associated with mental health;
