Story

Hi.....if you are reading this, then you probably already know me & the reason I'm riding down to Plymouth.

My family have been impacted hugely by Dementia. Memory Matters in Plymouth offers crucial support to my Parents.

I plan to cycle down from my West Midlands home this Summer (date to be finalised due to the English weather). The planned 230 mile (ish) route will take me South through Staffordshire, Worcestershire & into Wales. Through Chepstow, over the Severn Bridge & through Somerset. Once through Exeter, the final leg at about 180 miles will invlove a climb of nearly 2,000ft to Dartmoor before dropping down into Plymouth. I plan to start riding from home late afternoon on a Thursday. Ride through the evening & finish at the Memory Matters Coffee Shop in Plymouth Centre the following day, around 11-12 noon - target of 18 hours of continuous cycling.

Wish me luck & donate if you can.
