Story
In April this year it will be 8 years since my brother in law Colin Berry passed at the age of 42 after a courageous battle with Melanoma. He left behind 2 daughters, Olivia and Katie, who have grown into wonderful young women who we are very proud of.
I feel very fortunate to have been offered the opportunity to run the London Marathon in April as a guest of headline sponsor Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). This will be my first, and probably last, marathon and I will run to raise funds for Strathcarron Hospice who provided such amazing care and support for Colin and our family.
As an independent hospice, Strathcarron cares for over 1,400 people every year at a time when both they and their family need it most. The Hospice philosophy is about living until you die and the team ensure people have every opportunity to achieve their goals right up until the last moment. To do this, the charity needs to raise raise over £14,635 a day to keep its services running.
Please support me as I challenge myself for Strathcarron Hospice. Just £24 can pay for one hour of nursing care and really will make a difference. Thank you.
