Our best self is all about supporting people living with physical or mental illness, and addiction or with a learning disability. We also support the work of the trust to ensure that all services, both inpatient and community are “autism friendly”.

Story

Helping people who are struggling with substance misuse and mental health challenges has always been a passion of mine. Having personally faced these struggles in the past, I know how vital access to life-saving support from local services can be—I truly wouldn’t be here today without it.

This June, I’m taking on the 24 Peaks Challenge to raise funds for local substance misuse and mental health services. Over two intense days, I’ll be trekking for 12 hours each day, covering around 30 miles with a total ascent of 12,500 feet in the stunning yet demanding terrain of the Lake District.

The 24 Peaks Challenge is one of the UK’s toughest adventures, and I’m determined to complete it to give back to the services that make a difference in so many lives.

Your support means everything—not just to me, but to those who will benefit from these essential services. Please consider donating and helping me make a real impact. Together, we can bring hope and help to those who need it most.
