I was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer in February 2022. 2 Operations followed by 5 months of Chemotherapy; and I now live with a permanent Stoma, but I feel good and lucky in a sense that my cancer was caught relatively early. The cancer is in remission and I will be checked regularly to make sure that this remains. I have utilised the resources of Bowel Cancer UK throughout the most difficult time of my life and have found this invaluable; I am hoping to raise as much money as possible for Bowel Cancer UK by doing a 24-hour Pool-A-Thon; please find some information on this amazing charity below:
