Story
Michelle Lennox-Robb 18th March 1970 - 19th November 2023 ❤️
Her final wishes were flowers from myself, Tom and Jack, donations for the Nature Room at Thurnham please read below.
Michelle really enjoyed spending time in the Nurture Room at Thurnham and wanted to train to become a Nurture Practitioner but sadly she was not able to fulfill her dream.
At School, she was a natural at making children feel at ease with her fun loving personality and ability to bring out the best in their potential. We all knew with her special qualities she would have made a fantastic Nurture Practitioner.
She will be greatly missed by us all.
Any donations would be much appreciated and put towards continuing supporting the Nurture( Dale ) Room in Michelle’s memory.
The Nurture ( Dale ) Room at Thurnham is at the heart of our caring School.
It is a bridge between home and School, where children can feel safe and secure to voice how they feel in a quiet and calm space.
Sometimes they may need help with difficult circumstances such as bereavement, family illness, break up or just finding it hard to come to School, especially post Covid.
Afternoon Nurture sessions also take place in the room for more targeted needs such as improving social skills, or ongoing low self esteem.
Within this caring setting, trained staff support children helping them to gain confidence and independence which extends to better learning and feeling a sense of belonging. Parents/ Carers are also very welcome to drop in and discuss any concerns they may have.
