Lost Hours Walk 2025 · 25 October 2025

We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re a suicide prevention charity. We host a helpline for people affected by suicide, as well as vital online resources for anyone who needs them.

Story

Every week, 125 people in the UK die by suicide. Suicide is also the leading cause of death in men under 45! These are heartbreaking statistics — and ones we refuse to ignore. That’s why the Round Table Family (Round Table, Ladies Circle, 41 Club, and Tangent) are walking together through the night to raise funds and awareness for CALM – the Campaign Against Living Miserably.

This is our fourth year organising the Lost Hours Walk, a 28.8-mile overnight challenge starting at Round Table HQ in Central Birmingham and finishing at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas. We walk through the “lost hours” when the clocks go back, remembering those we’ve lost and standing shoulder-to-shoulder for those still fighting.

Over the past three years, with the incredible support of our communities, we’ve raised more than £14,500 for CALM. Every pound has helped CALM answer more life-saving calls on their free helpline and webchat — support that’s available 365 days a year to anyone in crisis.

This year, we want to go even further and with your support, we can make an even bigger impact.

How you can help:

💛 Donate — every penny goes to CALM’s vital work in suicide prevention.

💛 Share — spread the word to friends, family, and colleagues.

💛 Support — join us at the start line, cheer us on along the route, or meet us at the finish.

Together, we’re walking to save lives, to raise awareness, and to prove that nobody should ever feel alone.

Thank you for supporting.
