Neil's fundraiser for Tom's Trust

Dragon Ride 2025 · 22 June 2025 ·
This year, I Have chosen to support Tom’s Trust as this is personal to our family as you will read about below.
I will be riding over 500 miles in 5 rides across Scotland, Ireland, Wales and England between April and August.
This will be the biggest personal challenge of my life as the Welsh ride is a Grand Fondo at 133 miles with many, many steep inclines.
Tom's Trust is the UK's only charity dedicated to providing mental health support to children, with brain and central nervous system tumours, and their families. Based in Cambridge, Tom’s Trust clinical psychologists support hundreds of families, working within hospitals in the East, Thames Valley, North-East and North-West, from diagnosis, through treatment and as they return home.
My nephew Riley, was diagnosed with a brain tumour in March 2018, when he was seven. The family has been supported by a Tom’s Trust psychologist at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge from diagnosis, while undergoing treatment and beyond.
Despite going through such a difficult time in his young life, Riley continues to support the work of Tom’s Trust and has become a Young Ambassador for the charity. This is why I am raising as much as possible for the charity as the work they do literally keeps families lives on track.
