Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I’m raising money for The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in memory of my mate Pauline, who recently sadly passed away from clear cell renal cell carcinoma.
I have known Pauline since we were at high school together. She was the absolute life and soul of the party — funny, outgoing and always ready to have a laugh. She was pretty much the complete opposite of me at the time, which was probably one of the reasons we got on so well!
Pauline spent much of her life working for various charities and was very well known and respected within the charity sector across Liverpool. She was a wonderful person and a brilliant friend, and I will miss her enormously.
Cancer has also touched my podcast, Sausage On A Fork – The Grange Hill Podcast. Regular listeners will have heard about former Grange Hill cast member Mark Baxter, aka Duane Orpington, and his current battle with prostate cancer. We’re all wishing Mark the very best with his treatment and hoping for a positive outcome.
To help raise money for Clatterbridge, I was recently given a very special item — Todd Carty’s jacket from his appearance on Dancing On Ice: All Stars in 2014 — with the proviso that I use it to raise money for charity.
So, I’ve decided to raffle it!
🎟️ How the raffle works:
For every £5 you donate to this JustGiving fundraiser, you will receive one entry into the raffle.
For example:
£5 donation = 1 entry
£10 donation = 2 entries
£20 donation = 4 entries
£50 donation = 10 entries
Entries will close at midnight on 2nd October.
The draw will take place on 3rd October.
🏆 1st Prize: Todd Carty’s Dancing On Ice: All Stars jacket plus a Sausage On A Fork mug
🥈 2nd Prize: Sausage On A Fork mug
🥉 3rd Prize: Sausage On A Fork mug
This is a cause that is particularly close to my heart, and I would be incredibly grateful for any donation, no matter how large or small.
Please donate what you can, share the fundraiser with your friends and family, and help me raise as much as possible for The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in Pauline’s memory.
Thank you so much for your support. ❤️
