So I'm going to do things a little differently for the next couple of years and as well as fundraising I'm going to volunteer for Groundwork give a bit back to the communities I live and work in..

To kick things off Graham and I and hopefully a couple of others are going to walk the Macclesfield canal on the 6th July

Southern Start Point: Hall Green, near Kidsgrove in Staffordshire.

Northern Finish Point: Marple Junction, Greater Manchester/Cheshire border.

The rural, contour-hugging route runs along the edge of the Pennines, passing through Bollington, Macclesfield, and Congleton. It also features a dramatic flight of 12 locks at Bosley.
