"500 Miles for 500 Meals: Join Neil’s Journey to Deliver Hope, One Pedal at a Time!"

Cycling 500 miles
Imagine a community where no one goes to bed hungry. A place where families struggling to make ends meet can access fresh, nutritious food with dignity and hope. That’s the vision driving our local food hub, run by the lovely Abbey People, and we need your help to make it a reality.
This May, I’m taking on a 500-mile sponsored cycle ride to raise funds to provide 500 free baskets of food for families in need. Each basket will be packed with fresh produce, pantry staples, and essential items, ensuring that no one in our community has to choose between paying bills and putting food on the table. But I can’t do it alone – I need your support to turn every mile I pedal into meals for those who need it most.
The Abbey People food hub is more than just a distribution center; it’s a lifeline for many families. By donating, you’re not just giving food – you’re giving hope, health, and the chance for a brighter future. Every £5 you donate, provides a basket of food, and every pound brings us closer to our goal.
This video shows the incredible work of Abbey People including the food hub.
Together, we can make a tangible difference. Join me in this journey – sponsor my ride, spread the word, and come join me on a ride! Let’s show our community that when we come together, we can achieve extraordinary things.
Help me turn 500 miles into 500 baskets of food. Let’s fuel our community, one mile, and one meal at a time. Donate today and be part of something truly impactful. Thank you!

I will be cycling 500 miles from 2nd to 11th May. All rides will be logged on Strava app and posted each day to this page. All rides will be in or around Cambridgeshire and unsupported. I am riding normal pedal cycles and no electric bikes will be used. I will not receive any financial benefit from the sponsorship and will be paying for all my own expenses.
