This funding raising effort is on behalf of the mental health service I work for helping people recover from psychosis. The team are very enthusiastic, energetic and supportive which is just as well as I may need their assistance on the walk !

.........Colleagues from the Early Intervention in Psychosis Team will be completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks on the 17th of May 2025 to raise money for the Voyage to Recovery in September 2025.

This is a sailing voyage on a Faramir Ship from Hartlepool to Ipswitch over the course of 5 days.

Patients went on the Voyage to Recovery in May 2023 and reported that this was a life changing experience. All the service users were at different stages in their recovery from psychosis and this trip was like an “accelerated recovery process”. Being immersed in such an experience helped to build self-confidence and overcome social anxiety and low motivation, reduced stigma as they were “all in the same boat!''.
