Jessica Mai's Christmas Lights Fundraiser 2023, 5 January 2024
In memory of Jessica-Mai
We provide vital care and support to people living with a progressive illness

It is with a heavy heart we display our Christmas lights again this year, after our beautiful daughter Jessica Mai passed away on 9th May 2021, 31 hours after giving birth to her second gorgeous little girl. But we are continuing with the family tradition as Christmas was Jessica's favourite time of the year and Jess would want this tradition to continue for her daughters and her niece and nephew.

We will be supporting and raising money for the local charity St Elizabeth Hospice once again. Anything would be gratefully appreciated as it was a cause close to Jessica's heart after her Pop (Grandad) passed away from pancreatic cancer 8 years ago. Jessica's Nan also passed away at home on 27th December 2021 with the help of the hospice carers where she received very good care. The nurses truly went above and beyond making all the family feel comfortable and assured during a very difficult time.

Hopefully Jessica is with her Pop and Nan, now looking down on the Christmas lights and her beautiful babies with pride.

Lights will be displayed between the hours of 4.30pm till midnight with the switch on at 6.00pm on the 1st December at 16 Mill Road Drive on IP3 8UT.

About the charity

St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people with a progressive illness. Our work centres around individual needs, with specialist support, wherever required, at home, in the community or at the hospice. Each year the hospice needs to generate £12.9m, of this 70% comes from the local community.
