Story
On Thursday 29th May I intend to mark my first anniversary volunteering at East Renfrewshire Citizens Advice Bureau ( ERCAB ) by running round the 4 Outreach venues we provide advice from in East Renfrewshire.
The aim is to raise awareness of the Bureau's Outreach Service and also to hopefully generate some funds towards our annual costs.
The Outreach Service offers a vital drop in alternative for people unable to arrange appointments at the main Barrhead office and, as a charity, ERCAB is reliant on raising finance from various sources, therefore every little helps.
I will be starting at Newton Mearns Library and ending up at the ERCAB offices in Barrhead via Clarkston Voluntary Action and Barrhead Dunterlie Resource Centre. I plan to prove visiting each one with photographic evidence of the venue and an increasingly tired / red-faced runner being posted onto East Renfrewshire Citizen's Advice social media!
Thank you in advance for anything you can give towards this, as I know finances are tight, and feel free to share via social media etc to help raise awareness of the service ERCAB offers East Renfrewshire.
A poster showing details of the Outreach Service is included below. Please note the poster also shows the 2 Outreach Services we offer in Inverclyde.
