As many of you will know, ever since I started running in 2016, a Marathon has been on my bucket list and so I can't let this event pass without also raising some money for Charity.

Many people will know of the great work that MacMillan nurses do for cancer sufferers and their families, but how many people also know about the support provided by Admiral nurses for those suffering will all types of Dementia, including Alzeimers?

By 2025, it's estimated that over one million people in the UK will be living with a diagnosis of one of c.200 forms of dementia. Dementia UK exists to help raise awareness of these diseases and to provide support via the Admiral nurses to individuals and their families who are living with dementia.
