Story

Hi, I’m Neil, and I’m running the 100km Jacobite Ultra Race on September 20, 2025, to raise £850 for the Albinism Fellowship.

My daughter has albinism, a rare genetic condition affecting 1 in 17,000, causing visual impairment and stigma. As a dad and volunteer, I’m driven to help disadvantaged families, especially from low-income and BAME communities, who can face isolation.

The Fellowship offers vital support—peer groups, a helpline, and events—to build confidence and connection for people and families living with albinism.

The Jacobite race, starting at midnight from Bridge of Orchy in the Scottish Highlands, spans 100km with 2,400m of ascent through glens and lochs, testing my limits on rugged trails. Your donation will families access these life-changing services.

Every step I take is for them. Please donate to give a family hope and belonging
