Story
I'm putting down the microphone and lacing up my trainers at the Terry Fox (W)run Wrexham!
After our wildly successful Wrexham run last year, our local Wrexham volunteers are organizing an event which will be better than ever. I have not been spotted around a Terry Fox run course since 2023, so I am dedicating myself to getting out there again.
I also want to shine a spotlight on the town of Wrexham, where it will be a whole weekend of Terry Fox festivities starting Friday night at the Wrexham AFC game, and culminating on Sunday afternoon at the Terry Fox Wrun Wrexham.
I also want to shine a spotlight on the exceptional people I have met at Wrexham, who are welcoming and hard working, humble but proud, and who remind me very much of Canadians back home.
I can see why Wryan Wreynolds and Wrob Mac love Wrexham so much.
Please support me as Neil Wruns Wrexham!
P.S. Terry Fox made headlines in 1980 when he ran 3,339 miles over 143 days across Canada to raise awareness and money for cancer research. Since then almost $1,000,000,000 has been raised in his name - a Canadian hero.
The Institute of Cancer Research, London (ICR), is one of the world's most influential cancer research institutes.
