In honour of Neil Currey passing away aged 34 in September 2023, a fund has been created with Chesterfield FC Community Trust to help young men specifically but not exclusively.

Neil Currey was a Professional Bodybuilder and in his youth attended the Chesterfield FC Centre of Excellence. Sport and fitness were his main passion throughout his life and we wanted to choose a charity to reflect this.

The charity is multi faceted with programmes supporting; mental health, vulnerable children, disability provisions, substance misuse, the elderly and several important causes in the Chesterfield and North Derbyshire area. Furthermore, we will be working with the charity to develop an education programme in Neil’s memory. This will be delivered to local schools to have a direct impact on the community and future generations.
