Story
Neo and FI will be sleeping "rough" for the night in the Everton ground (the new Hill Dickinson Stadium) as part of a fundraising project for Everton in in the Community.
It was Neo's idea, and he is really excited about it.
No donation is too small! We appreciate every contribution.
It is going to be cold, but Neo and I have talked about how every time we pass someone on the street from then on, we will know how it feels. This feels important and significant to me.
By raising sponsorship we will be directly supporting Everton in the Community.
Everton in the Community provides residential support for young people on the verge of homelessness through its residential house and outreach initiatives across the region.
In 2019, Everton in the Community opened the doors of a four-bedroom house which provides semi-independent residential living for young adults who have fallen on hard times. The property was purchased through the programme’s sponsored fundraising campaign which raised close to a quarter of a million to buy and operate a house which resides in the heart of the L4 area.
As well as providing temporary accomodation and support services for at risk young adults, Eitc offer extensive 'wraparound' support to help people successfully transition into independent living.
Funds raised through the Sleepout event will be channelled into the development of many of Eitc's pioneering projects, which support tens of thousands of individuals from across the Liverpool City Region every year. These programmes cover areas such as health, employability, anti-social behaviour, crime, exploitation, education, dementia and disability, as well as homelessness.
Even a small amount will make a big difference!
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and to sponsor us.
