Story
The Neonatal Ninjas are back to race in the 2026 Dragon Boat Festival at Roberts Park. We would love for you to come down to watch us race and join in the fun that the festival has to offer.
Bradford Hospitals Charity and The Sick Children’s Trust are raising £3 million to create a vital ‘Home from Home’ – a warm, welcoming place for families to stay free of charge, right beside the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Bradford Royal Infirmary.
But we can’t do it alone. You can make sure families with a baby born early or unwell in hospital can be together when it matters most.
Every pound raised will go towards us supporting the 500 families a year who have a premature or sick baby admitted to Bradford Royal Infirmary. It means they’ll have somewhere to rest, cook a meal and have a hot shower, so they can face the day ahead and best support their baby’s recovery.
Plans include
Five additional en-suite bedrooms which allow families to stay overnight, so they're closer to their babies 24 hours a day.
This will reduce anxiety for parents, keep families together, and improve outcomes for our babies.
Refurbished living spaces and kitchen to accommodate all parents and siblings on the unit, and allow families to support each other.
A tranquil garden area where families can reflect and relax.
A play area for siblings, to distract them and keep them entertained.
Thankyou
From the Neonatal Ninjas :)
